Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy discloses the privacy practices of the American Eurhythmics Society (“AES”) through our digital properties that include the website of the organization (americaneurhythmics.org) and micro-sites associated with AES events and related communities and mobile applications that link directly to this Policy (collectively, “website” or “site”). This Privacy Policy makes disclosures concerning our collection of information, including personal information, when you use the website, and how we use and disclose it to others. By using this website, you expressly consent to our use and disclosure of your personally identifiable information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Minors

The parent or guardian of a minor is solely responsible for providing supervision of the minor’s use of the site and assumes full responsibility for the interpretation and use of any information or suggestions provided through the site.

Information We Collect

Your Registration Information. Information you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, user name, address, phone number, email address, and other contact information.

Your Payment Information. When you sign on to our site or make a purchase with us, we may collect additional information through our third-party payment provider: contact and payment information, payment history, profile and preference information that you provide.

Compliance and Resolution. We may use information in the file we maintain about you, and other information we obtain from your current and past activities on the site, to comply with applicable laws and regulations, resolve disputes, and troubleshoot problems.

Our site may provide links to third-party websites or apps that we do not control and that maintain their own privacy policies. These include, but are not limited to the American Orff Schulwerk Association, the Organization of American Kodály Educators, and the Alliance of Active Music Makers. Your Choices

Promotional Communication. If you do not wish to receive information about new AES products and services, third-party announcements we may send you, or upcoming events, you may opt-out of receiving promotional AES communications by sending an email request to admin@americaneurhythmics.org. You may opt-out from receiving information from us at any time and ask us to remove your contact information from our database. An opt-out link will be provided with any communication from us.

Non-Promotional Communication. Please note that AES members who opt-out of promotional communications will continue to receive non-promotional communications via email (such as member newsletters and membership information) that are provided as conditions of membership in the organization. If you do not wish to have your information shared with third-party companies as previously described, please send an email request to admin@americaneurhythmics.org indicating your preferences.

Preferences. Registered users of this site may update their information by logging in to this site and changing their information.

Security

We undertake reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to safeguard the confidentiality of your information from unauthorized access or disclosure.
