This session will provide meaningful activities for students in instrumental ensembles.  Specifically, attendees will experience movement activities focused on rhythmic elements, including durations, patterns, and a variety of meters.  Articulation activities to help students kinesthetically understand legato, staccato, and marcato will be included.  The concepts of anacrusis, crusis, and metacrusis will also be addressed in this session.
